Do you struggle with self-doubt? Do you lack self-confidence? Do you want to learn how to identify a healthy relationship? Have your children witnessed domestic violence? Are you concerned that this may be affecting them?

We believe that everyone has the right to a life without violence. All services are free and confidential. Supportive services include:

  • Emergency Shelter for victims and their children for up to 90 days
  • Crisis Intervention 24 hours / day 1-800-593-5322
  • Counseling Individual and supportive group counseling
  • Domestic Violence Advocacy Assistance and accompaniment to appointments, counseling services, educational and supportive services.
  • Law Enforcement Advocacy Assistance, information and support for victims whose partners are or may be charged with a domestic violence related crime.
  • Legal Advocacy Assistance, information and support for victims whose partners have been arrested and charged with a domestic violence crime.
  • Women and Children's Chances Program Domestic violence education in a support group setting that meets once a week for women and children recovering from domestic violence
  • Non-Residential Program Peer support groups, educational programs, family offense petition perparation, accompaniment to court and supportive services are provided
  • Safety Planning A vital tool to victims of domestic violence whether they decide to leave or stay with the abusive partner. Victims are at greatest risk for injury when they are planning to leave or have just escaped from an abusive partner.

ACCORD Corporation also offers law enforcement and legal advocacy. In some cases, it is necessary to obtain an order of protection against an abusive family member. ACCORD will assist a victim with preparing and filing a family offense petition. A representative of ACCORD will escort the victim to court.
