During this scary, confusing time, you need someone in your corner, to guide you through this process. Legal Assistance of Western NY, Inc. is now offering a Sub Prime Foreclosure Prevention Services Program to counsel participants and provide resources.

Program funded through a grant from the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal. Program partners include Legal Assistance of WNY, ACCORD, Catholic Charities of Chemung/Schuyler Counties, Cattaraugus Community Action, Chautauqua Home Rehabilitation and Improvement Corp., Keuka Housing Council, Inc., Pathstone Corporation, Rural Revitalization Corporation, Seneca Housing, Inc., and Tri County Housing Council.
ACCORD's Homelessness Prevention and Intervention program is designed to help prevent homeless situations. If you or anyone you know is in need of emergency housing assistance, please call or visit one of our locations. We can help!

- Crisis Counseling
- Advocacy
- Nutrition Education
- Case Management
- Eviction and Foreclosure Intervention
- Landlord Mediation and Coordination of Existing Support Services within the Community
- Budgeting
- Financial Assistance
You May Be Eligible for Assistance With:
- Housing location
- Rent, mortgage, security deposits, moving expenses and utility costs
- Mediation services for landlord / tenant disputes
- Prevention of foreclosure
- Obtaining permanent housing
- Defraying costs associated with medical and professional counseling services
- Clothing and furniture
- Accessing assistance in employment, substance abuse treatment, and other federal, state, and local resources
