Staff and parents working together to ensure that children are best prepared to be full citizens in their local communities and in their nation through early education and family development.

ACCORD's Infant and Child Services Division operates the Early Head Start and Head Start programs located in Allegany County. Early Head Start and Head Start programs are comprehensive child development programs for children ages birth to school age, including children with special needs. The program charges no fee and is primarily for children whose family income is below the level set by the Department of Health and Human Services; however that does not necessarily mean that your child is not eligible.
