Womens Education Domestic Violence Support Group

Chances provides an opportunity for women and children to learn about issues of victimization and to acquire tools to overcome the effects of domestic violence.
Women Learn:
- To understand and identify partner violence;
- To develop a safety plan;
- To develop anger management skills;
- To build self-esteem;
- To improve communciation skills;
- To understand the dynamics of a healthy relationship.
Children Learn:
- To identify abusive behavior;
- That violence in the home is not their fault;
- Anger management skills;
- Conflict resolution skills;
- Good touch versus bad touch;
- To build self-esteem;
- How to develop a safety plan;
- How to seek help.
