We understand that working families face difficulty with obtaining affordable, reliable transportation in order to get to and from work. Quite often lack of transportation can be the difference between keeping and losing your job. ACCORD Corporation can assist you with a 0% interest loan for a replacement vehicle or for needed repair work.



What are the eligibility requirements?

  • You must be eligible for social services (TANF)
  • Pregnant female / Parent(s) or Non-Custodial Parent(s) / Custodial Relatives of a minor child
  • You must be currently employed
  • You must have a valid New York State driver's license
  • You must be in need of transportation to employment


What are the vehicle requirements?

  • The vehicle must be purchased from a certified New York State auto dealer
  • The vehicle will need lemon law coverage or an equal warranty
  • You must carry FULL insurance (collision, comprehensive, and liability) on the vehicle


What are my responsibilities?

  • You must complete a vehicle maintenance class
  • You must complete a safe driving class
  • You must complete budget counseling with a loan counselor
  • You must repay the loan in a timely manner
