ACCORD recognizes that unforeseen challenges such as job loss, medical issues, or other crises can be overwhelming, causing difficulties in handling utilities or affording essential items for your family. We are here to assist you in securing these necessities. For additional information regarding these services, please visit or contact the ACCESS Center at 585-268-7605, option 2.
The ACCESS Center operates from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a brief closure for lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
No appointment is required.
Personal Care Items
We believe every community member deserves access to daily essentials. The ACCESS Center can assist with toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, body wash, bar soap, feminine hygiene products, and other related items.
Diapers & Wipes
In partnership with Every Bottom Covered Program, we provide 50 diapers or 25 pull-ups with wipes for children under 3 in low-income households, renewing every 30 days until the child turns 3. To enroll, complete the application linked below. Selecting the ACCESS Center as your pickup location ensures a monthly pickup on the first Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm. Clothing
We have the potential to offer support in the form of clothing, shoes, and additional items to meet your needs. Whether you're facing unexpected challenges or experiencing difficulties in acquiring essential apparel, our aim is to provide assistance and help ensure that you and your family have access to the necessary items for daily living. Please reach out to the ACCESS Center to discuss your specific requirements, and we'll work together to explore available resources and support options.
Transportation Assistance
We offer transportation support through bus tokens or gas cards to help individuals and families access community resources or engage in essential daily activities.
Household Items & Furniture
Through the generosity of donations and volunteers, ACCORD's Community Action Angels can provide essential household goods and furniture to households in need at no cost. This initiative aims to support individuals and families facing challenging circumstances by furnishing their homes with the necessary items for daily living.
Emergency Utility Assistance
We may have the capability to offer financial assistance or guide you to available resources that can address the challenges associated with past-due or at-risk utility bills. Whether it's for electricity, gas, water, or other essential services, our goal is to provide support and help ensure that your utilities remain operational during difficult times.
