ACCORD Corporation-Press Release 11/24/2020

ACCORD Head Start will be providing remote services only through December 4, 2020 due to increased community spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. One staff member at our Cuba location has tested positive. It is important to note the casual contact with a positive person does not necessarily make you a direct contact that would require quarantine. Whether or not you are a direct contact requiring quarantine depends on several factors including the use of face coverings, social distancing, and the duration of contact. If you do not receive a call from the Department of Health, you are not a direct contact subject to quarantine. We will maintain our extensive cleaning and disinfecting procedures at each location even during remote sessions. We will evaluate our return to in person services on a weekly basis and will notify families once a decision has been made.

ACCORD services and offices will be closed Thursday 11/26 and Friday 11/27 for Thanksgiving. Food distribution and holiday assistance will continue as scheduled. Please visit www.accordcorp.org or check out our Facebook page for details.
